The rich and vibrant histories of Glasgow’s residents are highlighted by the huge number of old camcorder tapes, VHS and cine film that we’ve converted to digital and DVD for local customers, unlocking countless old memories from around Lanarkshire and beyond.

Glasgow has boasted an abundance of photo opportunities down the years, showcasing a mix of stunning buildings of Victorian grandeur to modern masterpieces, a fiercely proud sporting history and the best whiskey in the world, this diverse and friendly city provides innumerable fond moments for locals and visitors alike.

In a recent project we undertook for a local historian, we converted several reels and prints to digital and DVD documenting Glasgow’s shipbuilding industry between the late 1800s up until the shipyards closed in the 1970s. Glasgow’s history of shipbuilding spanned for hundreds of years and was a major driving force behind the industrial power that shaped the city. We were delighted to preserve a piece of Glaswegian history for many more years to come. In another recent project we took on for a local resident, who purchased one of our ‘Peta’ Memory Boxes, we converted over 40 tapes to digital and DVD, allowing them to relive weddings, christenings, and many other treasured family memories from around the city.
